Update on New WA State Business Guidelines: We are open!
As you may have seen yesterday, Governor Jay Inslee has issued a statewide “stay-at-home” order for all WA residents, as well as the closure of all but “essential” businesses for the next two weeks, at least.
So what’s an essential business? The list is actually relatively long (you can peruse the full list here) but in that list is the following statement:
“Professional services, such as legal or accounting and tax preparation services, when necessary to assist in compliance with legally mandated activities and critical sector services.”
Interpreted in our capacity to serve our customers, many of whom are also included on the list of essential services, and our already robust ability to work remotely and abide by the stay-at-home orders, we are staying open and available to continue working for you through the ongoing health crisis.
We urge you to abide by the Governor’s orders and take the necessary steps to set yourself up to work from your home as much as possible. If your particular business is not on the list linked above, you CAN continue to operate, provided you do so from your home.
If you have questions or concerns and would like to speak to someone at Formations, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your account manager. We are going to be here for you, even if we’re there for you.
Stay home; stay safe.
